Louise Negline is a highly experienced journalist of more than two decades, working at SBS, 2UE, SKY, Seven, WIN and the ABC over that time.
While at the ABC, Louise was a senior reporter with Sydney’s flagship 7pm news program. She also reported for 7.30 and was a producer and researcher for Australian Story and Four Corners. She has also worked at ABC Illawarra as a radio and TV newsreader and presenter.
Louise then moved on to the University of Wollongong to work as a media trainer, speech writer, external media engagement officer and crisis management advisor. In this role, she worked closely with leading researchers to make their work more accessible to a broader audience and to promote confidence in communication through language and delivery.
Her work, among other impressive achievements, resulted in two mainstream-broadcast films about Motor Neurone Disease research and enormous fundraising opportunities for the University.
Due to her exceptional broadcast skills and natural flair for coaching, Louise has been (and continues to be) a trainer and mentor to many young journalists and presenters.
Louise’s wide experience in both journalism and media consulting makes her an asset to the Communication & Media Manoeuvres training team.
