Ann Buchner is a highly regarded and award-winning senior journalist, television producer and communications trainer with over 30 years’ experience in the industry.
She has been an Executive Trainer at Communication & Media Manoeuvres for the past fifteen years, working with senior executive spokespeople and thought leaders from both corporate and Government, with a particular focus on business, finance, science and technology sectors.
Ann has earned an enviable reputation as a skilled and supportive media trainer and communication coach, assisting spokespeople to deliver complex, technical and often highly sensitive information in a concise, engaging way, to achieve the best strategic results in media coverage.
After graduating as a scientist and working in research at one of Australia’s leading universities, Ann’s passion for sharing the stories coming out of the labs led to a career move into science journalism.
As a producer on the internationally acclaimed TV program Beyond 2000, Ann has travelled the world bringing stories about innovation, breakthroughs, and scientific curiosities to audiences around the globe.
She has also worked for Fox, CNN and Discovery Channel and filmed documentaries in Japan, South Korea and China for international audiences.
Ann spent more than a decade at the Nine Network as senior producer on Business Sunday, The Small Business Show and the iconic Sunday program, working alongside some of the biggest names in the Australian TV industry. She has won a number of major media awards for her work.
Along the way, Ann has picked up skills and qualifications in executive coaching, adult learning and workplace training and assessment.
