Lou Hutton is a Director and Communication & Media Manoeuvres’ General Manager of 7 years’ standing. Lou’s affable style and meticulous attention to administrative detail guarantees that every aspect of the training logistics and scheduling are addressed and then checked to ensure the smooth running of courses.
Lou has a tertiary qualification in Economics and Law and worked at the Defence Materiel Organisation (now Defence CASG) for five years after university, providing her with valuable experience in the Australian Government and Defence environment.
She then joined the highly-regarded Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron as Assistant Manager, where she honed her exemplary customer service skills.
Lou is responsible for overall management of Communication & Media Manoeuvres’ training calendar, overseeing all aspects of the training logistics and coordinating all personnel involved in each assignment.
Lou makes sure that the training, before, during and after all scheduled and short notice courses, runs efficiently and effectively.
