NICOLE SWIFT– EXECUTIVE TRAINER
Nicole is a broadcast and print journalist with over sixteen years of wide ranging experience in Australia and the United Kingdom.
She holds a Bachelor of Economics and Commerce from Melbourne University.
Nicole began her journalistic career in Melbourne radio at 3AW as a producer in 1991. She worked at 3AW for the next seven years as a news reporter, newsreader, police rounds reporter, financial and state political reporter.
During that time she worked with morning and drive, current affairs and talk-back programmes including Neil Mitchell and Steve Price’s shows.
Nicole left commercial radio in Australia in 1998 to take up a position in London as a Senior Broadcast Journalist for British Satellite News at Worldwide Television News. She then joined The Money Channel as Senior Program Producer of the financial program Corporate Profile.
In 2000, Nicole became Associate Editor at Shares Magazine in London where she was writer and analyst of the media in various sectors for personal investors.
Nicole has covered the financial markets as a stock market analyst for Bloomberg Television, BBC World News, Sky Business Programs, ITV (Channel 3) Bulls and Bears Program, the UK Channel 4’s Show Me The Money and other programs on the Money Channel.
Following her return to Australia in 2002, Nicole worked for the ABC as a freelance journalist, working as a regular contributor to the Jon Faine program and as a producer for Channel Nine’s A Current Affair before joining Media Manoeuvres as an Executive trainer.
Highlights of Nicole’s career include awards for her news coverage of the Port Arthur Massacre, a Quill award for Best Radio Report, A Gold Award – The New York International Festival and her finalist status in national media industry awards, the Walkley Awards.
